How to flash and use WolfOS
From a downloaded .iso file to a running operating system in five steps.

Get a USB drive
You'll need a USB flash drive with at least 16 GB of space. Flashing erases everything on the drive, so back up anything important first.

Install a flashing tool
Download a free tool that writes the
.isoto your USB drive. balenaEtcher (Windows, macOS, Linux) or Rufus (Windows) both work well. -

Flash the WolfOS image
Open your flashing tool, select the
WolfOS-1.2.isofile you just downloaded, choose your USB drive, and start. This usually takes a few minutes. -

Boot from the USB drive
Restart your computer and open the boot menu (often F12, F2, Esc, or Del — check your PC's startup screen). Select the USB drive to launch WolfOS.

Enter your access code
On first launch, WolfOS will ask for your access code. Type in the code shown above (the
XXXX-XXXX-XXXXcode) and you're in. Then follow the on-screen installer to set up WolfOS.
